Equal parts gin, Cointreau, Lillet, and lemon over an absinthe rinse; the hangover cure that became a classic in its own right.
Typical way it's made: 0.75 oz gin, 0.75 oz Cointreau, 0.75 oz Lillet Blanc, 0.75 oz lemon juice, absinthe rinse
The corpse revivers were an old family of morning-after remedies, and No. 2 is the one that outlived the joke. Harry Craddock fixed the recipe in The Savoy Cocktail Book in 1930: equal parts gin, Cointreau, Kina Lillet, and lemon juice over a breath of absinthe, bright enough to wake anything.
