Typical way it's made: 0.75 oz mezcal, 0.75 oz yellow Chartreuse, 0.75 oz Aperol, 0.75 oz lime juice
Joaquín Simó built it in 2011 at Death & Co in New York and describes it as 'the bastard love child' of the Last Word and the Paper Plane, conceived in the mountains of Oaxaca. The equal-parts math holds: smoky mezcal, honeyed yellow Chartreuse, bittersweet Aperol, and lime, each granted exactly one quarter of the vote.

The drink toured before it came home, appearing at Portland's Teardrop Lounge and on the opening menu of Candelaria in Paris before Death & Co ever printed it; the IBA made it official in 2020.
