A Screwdriver with a Galliano float; the drink that defined 1970s America, invented mostly by its own ad campaign.
Typical way it's made: 1.5 oz vodka, 4 oz orange juice, 0.5 oz Galliano floated on top
Legend credits Donato 'Duke' Antone, said to have mixed it in 1950s Hollywood for a wall-banging surfer named Harvey; later research found Antone living in Hartford at the time. The drink's real engine was marketing. Around 1969 Galliano's US importer put a scruffy cartoon named Harvey on posters everywhere, and 1970s brunch tables did the rest.
