Reposado means rested. The class formalizes the middle path: enough barrel to tint and soften the spirit, little enough that cooked agave still leads.
Blanco tequila rests in oak from two months to a year, in anything from ex-bourbon barrels to giant vats; time and container size tune how much vanilla creeps in.
