Jalisco, Mexico

Blanco is tequila's first form: every tequila was clear until barrels entered the picture, and plenty of drinkers in Jalisco never saw a reason to change.

How It's Made

Agave hearts are cooked, crushed, fermented, and distilled at least twice, then bottled promptly, unaged or only briefly rested in steel or neutral oak.

Tasting Notes

Roasted agave, white pepper, lime peel, olive brine, a mineral edge. The class that makes a Margarita or a Paloma taste like itself.
