Typical way it's made: 4 oz pineapple juice, 1.5 oz coconut cream, blended with ice
The parent was blended into shape at San Juan's Caribe Hilton in the 1950s, and its defining pair, pineapple and coconut, never needed rum to get along. The virgin version survives the subtraction with its texture fully intact, which is why it may be the least diminished zero-proof order on any menu. Poolside logic, no fine print.
