Vodka, gin, rum, tequila, triple sec, lemon, cola. Maligned for good reason, but a real piece of American bar history.
Typical way it's made: 0.5 oz each vodka, gin, white rum, and blanco tequila, 0.5 oz triple sec, 1 oz lemon juice, cola to top
Robert 'Rosebud' Butt said it happened in 1972 at the Oak Beach Inn on Long Island, during a contest to invent a drink featuring triple sec. Four white spirits, lemon, and a cap of cola later, he had something that tasted deceptively like iced tea, and the disguise carried it around the world.
