Brooklyn's amaro house: Italian bitter tradition made in New York.
Brooklyn, New York, 2014
Founded in 2014 by two sommeliers who came home from months in Italy determined to make a regional amaro of their own. It became Brooklyn's first commercially sold local amaro and changed hands in 2017.
Botanicals macerate and blend into a spirit base in small batches. The range runs from the flagship amaro to a bright red Inferno Bitter built for the Negroni family.
Bitter orange and cherry over gentian, rhubarb, and cola depth. The Inferno reads floral and citrus-forward, the amaro darker and more herbal.

The house also bottles a non-alcoholic negroni that ended up outselling everything else it makes.
